We invite Expressions of Interest from CSPS members to take part in a Canadian contingent planning to attend the 145th Annual Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan (PSJ), to be held March 26-29, 2025 in the city of Fukuoka (near Nagasaki), Kyushu Island, JAPAN.
The PSJ conference theme this year is “Promoting the Ecosystem in Pharmaceutical Sciences: Future Innovation through Cross-disciplinary Collaboration”, and will feature a PSJ-CSPS Joint Academic Session on the topic of Pharmaceutical Health Sciences and Environmental Toxicology scheduled for (Fri afternoon Mar 28, 2025) and will include podium presentations from 2 invited Canadian academic speakers that will be selected by the PSJ Organizing Committee.
For Canadian university professors interested in being considered as one of 2 invited podium speakers, please email CSPS Board Member Dr. Michael Doschak mdoschak@ualberta.ca with a title and brief abstract of your proposed talk by the Nov 8, 2024 deadline. Two CSPS Travel Awards of $500 will be made available to the 2 speakers selected by PSJ peer-review for oral podium presentation, and PSJ will cover 2 night’s accommodation in Fukuoka and waive speaker registration fees.
In addition, Abstracts for General Session Oral and Poster Presentation will be accepted on any theme, and need to be submitted to the appropriate PSJ scientific committee, using the PSJ Portal. General Sessions (Oral/Poster Presentations) will be held in the following six divisions; (A) Pharmaceutical Chemistry, (B) Pharmaceutical Physics, (C) Pharmaceutical Biology, (D) Pharmaceutical Health Sciences and Environmental Toxicology, (E) Pharmaceutical Health Care and Sciences, and (F) Others.
To submit an abstract, a PSJ Overseas Membership Fee of 3,000 yen (approx. CAD $30) will need to be paid online in advance of uploading your Abstract.
