The 2022 CSPS Awards and Poster Awards were announced on Thurs., June 23, 2022 at the CSPS Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Society would like to congratulate all of the awardees and wish them continued success in their pharmaceutical sciences research.

2022 CSPS AWARDS

  • CSPS Lifetime Achievement Award
    Presented in 2022 to Dr. Pieter Cullis, PhD, FRSC, FNAI (USA), OC, Director, Nanomedicines Research Group, Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of British Columbia.
  • CSPS Award of Leadership in Pharmaceutical Sciences 2022 – This award is bestowed upon an individual who has demonstrated leadership in advancing the cause of pharmaceutical research and development in Canada.
    • Dr. Raimar Löbenberg, PhD, FCSPS, Director, Drug Development and Innovation Centre, Professor, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Alberta
  • CSPS Early Career Award 2022 – This award recognizes the outstanding research achievements and contributions of pharmaceutical scientists, working in Canadian academia, industry, government or research institutes, in their first seven years following their graduation from a doctorate program.

  • Gattefossé Award in Lipid-Based Drug Delivery – Recognizing outstanding research in pharmaceutical sciences by a graduate student for his/her work demonstrating progress in the field of Lipid-Based Drug Delivery (LBDD)

  • CSPS National Undergraduate Student Research Program Awards 2022 – Undergraduate pharmacy student award winners from participating Pharmacy Schools across Canada. Congratulations to the following students:
